Borders

Woven patches can have the following borders:

Embroidery Border

Thick border.

Woven Border

Thin border.

Backing Options

Heat Transfer

Backing with heat-transfer glue, which is activated when heat is applied with a home or industrial iron. Also known as "iron-on" backing.

3M Sticker

Backing with a 3M sticker sheet, which is removed to then directly apply the patch to any surface.

Velcro

Backing with a Velcro sheet. Mostly used in military or extreme sports gear.

Cotton Paper

This backing option includes a cotton paper sheet, which prevents thread fraying.

Main Label

It's the main product label, usually sewn on the neck area of the garment.
Recommended setup: Printed or Woven Label, Damask or Cotton material. Center Fold or End Fold.

Labels for the sleeves or hems of the garment.
Recommended setup: Woven Label, Damask material. Manhattan Fold.

Product Information

Heat-transfer ink labels, applied with an iron's heat.
Recommended setup: Heat-transfer Label, Flexographic Ink material.

Wash Care Labels

Recommended setup: Printed Label, Satin material. Straight Cut or Center Fold.
